Higher Education
Beyond K-12, the Gulf Coast offers multiple higher education options. Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) operates campuses across the coast and is one of the largest community colleges in the state. The University of Southern Mississippi Gulf Park Campus in Long Beach offers four-year and graduate degree programs. William Carey University has a Tradition campus nearby, and Tulane University operates a satellite campus in Biloxi. Several districts also offer dual enrollment programs allowing high school students to earn college credits.
